The Cassegrainian mirror blanks have a started hole molded into the blank which comes within a ¼ to ½ of an inch of the designated mirror surface. This eliminates the need to core drill through the blank and then inserting a plug for surface stability prior to polishing. All the blanks are fine annealed Pyrex 7740. Precision annealed blanks can be supplied upon request.

The primary is a full parabola and the secondary is a hyperbola.
