Modified polished diagonals are supplied fine annealed with the reflective surface aluminized with a protective overcoat. The back surface is machine ground. The thickness ratio is based on the 6:1 rule and is determined using the major axis.

The part numbers starting with the alpha characters "PQDX", "MPQD", "MVQD" have a surface accuracy of 1/4 wave. The part numbers starting with the alpha characters "PTDX", "MPTD", "MVTD" have a surface accuracy of 1/10 wave. The testing wave length is 632.8nm. An interferogram can be supplied for an additional charge (see price list code "DGRAM" for cost) should the purchaser desire documented proof at the time of purchase as to the part's surface accuracy.

CUSTOM DIAGONALS

Other sizes can be made to meet the requirement of the fabricator. This includes diagonals made from Pyrex, fused silica, quartz, low expansion ceramics and other materials. Please submit a drawing with the dimensional sizes required to facilitate our quotation process.
